After his start in a tiny shop on Münzstrasse, Andreas Murkudis opened his huge concept store in July 2011 on Potsdamer Strasse in Berlin Tiergarten. Here, in the former printing house of Tagesspiegel, he developed with the architects Gonzalez Haase AAS, more a gallery than a shop to present his personal pick on accessoires, art, books, cosmetics, design objects, glasses, interior, jewelery, liquors, luggage, furniture, perfume, rugs and fashion – not only by his brother Kostas Mukudis. The reduced interiour design, the almost quadratic room with its hight of seven meters as well as 1,000 sqaremeters Hagensieker planks create an impressive temple, where design lovers can end their pilgrimage. Next to international well known brands you will find small manufactures from all over the world, that are not known to a broader audience yet. Some of our favourites are Aesop, Dries van Noten, Christian Haas, e15, Escentric Molecules, Isaac Reina, Maison Martin Margiela, Neri Firenze, Saskia Diez, Stephanie Schneider, Clemens Tissi or When Objects Work. Andreas Murkudis is a king of taste and garantuees with his name for materials, quality and tradition. Always worth a visit, lovers of high-end aesthetic objects can also stroll online through the store’s thoughtful selection.
